The 2008 Silicon Valley International Auto Show (SVIAS)
This annual event, which is growing in popularity each year, provides a showcase for hundreds of cars, trucks, SUVs, and mini-vans. SVIAS is the largest attended consumer show held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Associate Member Program
The SVADA offers associate membership to companies and vendors doing business with our Dealers and Dealerships. Associate members receive bulletins, can participate in our annual golf tournament, attend important seminars and classes relating to the automotive industry, and receive a yearly updated Dealer Directory, listing each Associate Member.

Annual Invitational Golf Tournament
The SVADA holds an annual invitational golf tournament each summer so dealers and associate members can socialize and play a round of golf together. This is an excellent way to meet with the dealer members and partake in fundraising for local charities. Sign up to play.

Annual Meeting & Officer Installation
Held in the Spring, following the election of the new SVADA Board of Directors, a dinner is held for both our dealers and associate members.

Educational Training Seminars
SVADA’s education programs are designed to enhance job skills, assist with regulatory compliance, update labor and employment regulations. Seminars for SVADA Dealer members are generally free of charge as a member benefit. SVADA members also receive discounts on California Motor Car Dealers Association seminars including the annual New Law, F&I, and DMV seminars. We can also share information from the National Automobile Dealers Association.

Silicon Valley Auto Outlook Newsletters

Legislative Representation
To assist and monitor Local, State and Federal legislature, the Association Director regularly attends Legislative meetings in Sacramento. SVADA’s representation ensures that information is relayed to dealer members regarding important issues, and reviewing new laws under consideration that affect new car dealers.

Labor Law Disputes and Legal Representation
SVADA retains the offices of Fisher & Phillips for members to contact regarding labor disputes and other matters. Contact: John D. McLachlan, jmclachlan@laborlawyers.com, 415.490.9017, www.laborlawyers.com.

Membership Meetings
As needed, both Dealers and Associate members are invited to attend Open Forum meetings concerning a range of dealer issues, from environmental awareness to product knowledge to requested subject matter.

Dealership Compliance
